Is this a good guitar to learn with?

I found this guitar in awesome condition at my uncles place, it hasn’t been used in a while and needs new strings, but i was wandering if this is a good guitar to learn how to play on. I also heard a ‘classical’ guitar is harder to play than a steel guitar. please use simple language, i don’t know anything about them. any info will be apreciated

Yes that’s is right, a classical guitar is supposed to be harder to play. I am learning to play with a classical though and I have had no problems. Also, steel string guitars hurt your fingers more! I would say go for it. Because if you only have to pay for new strings, then you are getting a good guitar for cheap, so why not? You can buy a new guitar anytime and you can play it exactly the same way as you have learnt on the other one. Guitar is so much fun!!
