Pei Songwriters Podcast Series is now available online

A series of 11 podcast episode features music by composers from the island Prince Eduardo Canada will soon be available online in its entirety. The series features the recorded music by composers from their different albums, with a series of "Special" recorded acoustic tracks created especially for the series, as well as writers in their own words. It was created and produced by Sandbar Music and engineered and co-produced by Jon Matthews at his studios Grey Charlottetown, PEI.

The first five episodes are already available for listening and download http://www.closetothecoastradio.com. The series is also available podcast directory in iTunes and will be available through a number of other directories on the web. You can also subscribe to the series to receive new episodes as they become available. Two new episodes are published every month until the series is fully available in January 2009.

The series features songwriters from various genres and styles of music in a wide spectrum Prince Edward Island. Authors guest: Eddie Quinn, Nikkie, Chas Guay: Tim Chaisson, Donald Younie; Liam Corcoran, Jon Matthews, Meaghan Blanchard, Dan Currie, Pat Deighan, Mark Steel, Andrew Murray, Jeremy Gaudet and Dennis Ellsworth.

Each episode lasts about forty-five minutes. A unique feature of the show is that the last three episodes do include the acoustic tracks recorded especially for this series, with writers in their own words
