Value of a 1955 Martin D-28 guitar?
My husband’s grandmother left her guitar to him, and after doing my research on the model and serial number, I found it to be a 1955 Martin D-28. It’s got minor scratches on it here and there, but nothing noticeable unless it catches in the light. We have no plans to sell it since it has so much sentimental value, and I don’t expect it to be worth much. Just curious.
The reissue of this guitar sell online for over $5000. I have seen original 1955 D28 go for as high as $9000. You price could vary. I’d keep it.
