Can I apply this fretboard product to my guitar’s bridge?

can i use this fretboard lemon oil to apply to my ibanez edge pro guitar bridge to prevent it from rust and corrosion? will it protect my guitar’s metal bridge from rust or oxidation in the long run?

It won’t *hurt* your bridge, but the lemon oil is a wood conditioner. It’s purpose is to clean, moisturize and protect the unfinished wood of your fretboard. For metal parts, you should use a metal polish. Even a light coat of silicone or WD40 rubbed onto the metal would work better than the lemon oil. BTW, you shouldn’t have to worry about oxidization and rust if you treat the guitar with care. Store it in a case, don’t expose it to moisture or extremes of temperature, and wipe it with a clean cloth after playing. All the metal parts are plated with nickel or chrome so corrosion usually isn’t a problem.
