guitar upstroke downstroke
im stuck on how to alternate pick on guitar please help!?
i just cant seem to do the picking fast it turns into downstroke picking, cant do upstrokes fast
Center the picking motion in the wrist instead of the elbow. Picking from the elbow can tire you out. The rhythm guitarist from Children of Bodom also claimed to of gotten an injury over it also. Start out as fast as you can, even if it’s boringly slow, and work your way up in speed as you feel your getting the hang of it. Also, combine simple exersises of practicing on one string and playing songs that requires the technique.
