guitar strings tutorial
playing guitar tabs help??? do you strum it or play the strings held down?
when you play guitar tabs do you just play all the strings without caring what you are holding down. or do you only pluck the strings you are holding down ( but if you are holding them down, they won’t make a sound.)
i looked at the guitar tutorials and they don’t play all the strings at once they only play the ones they are holding down but when i do it, it doesn’t work.
Help….
It depends on what kind of tabs they are, but usually you play all the strings, unless a string is marked somewhere with an X which would mean not to play that string
Example:
e|–0–0–0–0–|
B|–0–0–3–2–|
D|–0–0–0–0–| This would mean you don’t play the low E string
G|–2–2–2–2–|
A|–3–2–3–0–|
E|–x–x–x–x–|
