Is Suicide Silence the “Godsmack” Of Death Metal?

Not really a question but still open for debate, Think about it… They use 2 notes for a whole song, Instead of catchy choruses they have catchy breakdowns… And now there just as mainstream! Don’t get me wrong I like a selected number of songs from them but sometimes those riffs give me a headache, Two notes played in a different fashion over and over… Just like Godsmack! Now the vocalist is awesome but those guitar players need to seriously pick up a theory book and figure out how to jam out a different scale. I know there famous but I really don’t get why there the poster band for dethcore, Listen to fucking Whitechapel, Oceano or The Red Shore they fucking own. Anyway I just had to vent about this band sorry for waisting your cyber minutes you can now continue your interweb browsing.

Yeah, I agree lol. Whitecapel for the fucking win. btw if you like whitechapel check out Veil of Maya, Born of Osiris, After the Burial, The Faceless, and Periphery, they’re all from the same amazing record company.
