How to clean rosewood fretboard and make the wood less dry?
I got an electric guitar (Epi dot es335) and the wood felt a little dry, you know, when you bend the strings and you can feel it scratch a little bit – although not much any more as it’s smoothed a bitt more from all the playing. But if I lift the strings and feel the woods it’s a bit dry. What’s the best way to make it more soft, what kind of products do this, if any.
Also what’s the best thing to clean rosewood fretboards?
It is referred to as “fretboard conditioner”, try Dean Markley’s Love Potion #15, not only does it have a great name, but it works great on rosewood and ebony fretboards.
