guitar projects
Got any good science projects that have to do with guitars and sound?
I need a good simple science fair project to do with sound and hopefully I would be able to incorporate a guitar into. I don’t want ideas that have to do with the wood or body or brand because most likely I already know the answers to these or I can’t buy two different guitars to test, also I would like to avoid projects that would destroy a guitar. Oh yeah, if this could be do-able with in like 2-3 weeks that would be great too! kthnxbai.
How about a scientific analysis of the twelve-tone system and how it doesn’t quite match up with how a guitar’s notes are spaced out, frets are positioned, etc.? Buzz Fieten and Dan Erlewine both have a lot to say on this. I’ve read explanations of it, but they’re usually dry and hard to follow. If someone could bring it to life in a science project kind of way, I’d love to see it.
