Rhythm Guitar or Lead Guitar when playing with a piano playing melody?
I am going to be playing for my church, guitar. I was wondering which to play, lead or rthythm guitar. The piano player plays melody. We don’t have any other instruments at the time. Which should I play?
Definitely rhythm. Since the melody is coming from the piano, it will be your job to fill it out with a nice rich sound.
