This controller is based off of the popular Gibson X-Plorer guitar and is meant to provide players with a meaner and badder version of this games controller. The old Gibson Les Paul-inspired controller has nothing on this new design. You can also use a built-in D-pad to navigate through the game options. The new controller also has an integrated Xbox Guide button to help players communicate with their friends on the Live version of the game system. This new controller is one of the best reasons to go out and get the Xbox 360 version of Guitar Hero.
