Guitar Hero III question???

On GH3 i’m stuck on Knights of Cydonia (expert): I either die at the galloping triplets (where u have to do orange, red and green–i have difficulty streching my fingers and stay in the rythm) or I die after that, because i cant strum fast enough (I already beat this song and I know I have to use star power but i waste it at the galloping triplets). I’m kinda good cuz I already beat this song, 3′s and 7′s, Stricken and Before I Forget (all on expert)!
Please answer!

at the galloping triplets, focus only on the red and greens, this will lighten the load without having to use star power and shouldnt fail as you are hitting 2 out of 3 notes, get throught this part like this and conserve your star power for the other parts you are stuck with
your problem with strumming, try to alternate between up and downward srtumming whilst keeping the rythm of the song, if you can keep that up you will have no problems
