Best guitar pedal for a low tone death/doom metal guitar sound?

I’ve looked at digitechs metal master, death metal, and other distortions and i have also looked at boss’ metal core and metal zone and i don’t know which one to get. They all have good reviews and they all seem like amazing little gadgets but thats my problem. This is my first time getting a pedal so i am asking people with experience advice.

I would but my local guitar center dosnt allow you to try stuff which i find is very stupid and ignorant.
Well i would drive up to guitar center but thats about 2 hours away so gas money would cost more than the pedal its self and then there goes my pedal money .

I love the good old tried and tested Boss Metal Zone.

If you get the chance try a Metal Zone and an Octave pedal at the same time.

The Metal Zone gives powerful distortion and lowering the notes using an Octave Pedal gives that deep death metal punch.

I personally would not buy from a store that doesn’t let you try out equiptment. Go find one that does. These stores have to realise that this is what they are for.

Last time I checked retail was around $120 australian dollars.
I bought mine from a pawn shop for $50
