About Me
My background includes over 20 years’ teaching and over 25 years’ performing. I’ve been involved with many styles of music as a band member, songwriter/arranger, recording engineer, mixing engineer, live sound technician and music director. I’ve taught at many music conservatories as well as being an “applied skills” tutor at a major university. Currently I am a private tutor giving lessons at-home and over the Internet.
For the first 15 years of my career I was a “rocker” performing songs by legendary artists such as Clapton, Cream, The Who, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Santana, Rush, U2 and many many more. In the mid-90s I discovered flamenco guitar and took it up with a passion. I’ve been dedicated to the art of flamenco ever since, but have not forgotten my rocker roots…
