guitar equipment stores

Honestly, what do I do?
When I was a few years younger I made many bad decisions, and tried to gain acceptance from everyone. In 1999 myself and a friend stole some music equipment from a couple of music stores. I got in trouble and paid my due. I’ve since cleaned up my act and become a different person…. However, now that I have a felony, NO ONE in the state of oklahoma wants to hire me because I have a felony on my record. (concealing stolen property, and burglary) I’m telling you,,, I won’t even pick up a dollar off the sidewalk. I’ve totally learned my leason, but considering my record, no one will give me a chanch. I had a good job for several years after I got off of probation, but now the felonies are on my record, everyone looks at me negatively. I also play guitar in a rock band, and I have long hair, and I DO NOT want to cut it. I look really bad to potential employers. I’ve cut my hair before, and it made me unhappy. I’ve always been honest when applying for a job! What do I do?
Thats very unfortunate! Become self-employed, many felons are self-employed and quite sucessful, they report to no one except their customers and of course the I.R.S.
If you don’t have any skills, work your way through school (trade-school, community college or university) by mowing yards, painting houses, that kind of thing, you can do it. It’s not glamourous like being a rock star (realistically, probably not going to happen for you) but very possible. You will begin by going to the local college (Summer session one starts soon) and apply today. Get on a payment plan, don’t finance it. That way you will graduate and be debt free. You can do it, if you work hard.
Be a success story man.
