How to achieve different distinct sounds on Guitar?(Slash etc.)?
I would like to know how to achieve a few different sounds on the guitar. I know a lot of them are to do with the right equipment and if so could you tell me what is used? The sounds I am trying to achieve are as follows:
1. Slash’s dirty sound used with Guns N’ Roses
2. The country sound used by Lynyrd Skynyrd guitarist Gary Rossington in Sweet Home Alabama, and
3. The precise distortion, tone etc used to play my Sharona by the Knack.
