Andy McKee and Erik Mongrain play fingerstyle guitar. However, fingerstyle guitar encompasses a whole series of skills For instance, Erik plays some songs with lap-tapping, but this is still considered fingerstyle. Andy takes influence from Michael Hedges’ various techniques.
