Guitar Dongle

Will the usb dongle on the ROCK BAND wii work with the ps3?

Ok, a year ago I bought a wii and the rock band set it came with the usb dongle. Now i’m selling my wii and getting the rock band games for the ps3. I bought a guitar online but i have to buy the usb dongle separately. Will the wii one work with it?

No, the USB dongle only works with the system it was made for. If you bought a guitar without the dongle, you got ripped off.
