How do you put on a guitar strap?

I have an acoustic guitar which is probably really old (like 20 years) as it’s a hand-me-down. I can’t see any holes or attachments. Plus I am a beginner so don’t know much at all!

some guitars don’t have knobs so..
you can either have 2 put on, you could go without a strap, or you could have 1 put on and tie one side to the neck of the guitar.
