Is it possible to paint a guitar like a goldtop gibson les paul?
I want to make a Gibson les paul goldtop for I’m a slash fan but don’t have the money for the new slash gold guitar. I was wondering is it possible to make my own? Because I’ve been searching everywhere and it doesn’t look like anybody has tried it yet.
save your money towards a real gold top. trust me, you will make an arse of it. it’s hard to replicate that colour successfully. gibson use some kind of gold pigments in their paints i think, to acheive this finish………. though i must admit the slash LP goldtop gives me the horn.
