i have a green Fender Stratocaster, and I’ve had it for a little over a year. they stopped making the color so it’s kind of a collectors edition. anyways, i got a crack on the bottem and a dent on the neckboard. is there a way to fix this, or do i just live with it. it got this way when at a jazz band practice, i set it on a chair, and someone knocked it down. i know it was just an accident. i’m not gonna sue them or have them pay for a new guitar or anything like that.

I’m not sure what your question is.

Sounds like you have cracked the lacquer especially in the neck area, this can sometimes be only superficial dont worry about it it it stays in tune, a rub down and repaint can be costly.

I’d live with it, most modern Strats aint worth a great deal especially if they are not USA built. Get your trussrod checked out and if its still straight and stays in tune leave well alone.
