Can the Musicians Gear Electric Guitar Metal Flight Case fit an ES-335 type guitar?
For anyone that owns this case, do you know if it fits a semi-hollowbody?
No it won’t, here are the dimensions for it:
Lower bout width: 15-1/4″
Upper bout width: 12″
Body length: 22-1/2″
Overall length: 40-1/2″
Depth: 4-3/4″
I believe the ES-335 and similar guitars have dimensions around:
Dimensions: 41 1/2″ x 15 1/8″ x 1 7/8″
It would be an inch too long up top, and probably a bit wide as well. I would recommend a case such as this one:
