how long does it take?

how long does it take on average to learn how to play the guitar….an electric guitar. and im not talking about being a superstar i just mean being able to play well enough for a singing career but not to the point of having to be amazing or playing hardcore rock music.

it depends.
im a guitarist and ive been playing for like 5 years.
it took me about 1 year to get everything down.
but only a couple of months to learn basic chords etc
(with very little practice might i add…)

if you learn i suggest practicing as much as you can otherwise its just a waste of time!
