How difficult would it be to switch from bass to electric guitar?

Ok, now I’ve only been playing bass for almost 2 years. Say I also wanted to play guitar too. How hard would it be too learn? Is it like playing a completely new instrument, or is it a few slight adjustments in playing style?

It’s not too hard. I think it’s easier to go from guitar to bass, but it’s still similar. The main difference is instead of playing one note at a time on bass, you’ll use a lot more chords on guitar. Your fingers are probably pretty strong from playing the thicker bass strings, so you should have an easy time moving around the fretboard. Also, the four strings of the bass are tuned the same as the first four on guitar (just an octave lower, i believe.)
