for slide blues, which slide should i choose?

i love the blues and i want to learn how to play with the slide. im not sure which slide to purchase though. many old blues players have used the medicine bottles as a slide, and i saw them in a guitar center. my only concern is that they are made by dunlop, and all of the dunlop pedals ive had have broke! sure, pedals and slides are 2 different things but after 3 broken dunlop pedals (not to mention some of my friends broken dunlop pedals), i am a little cautious about buying it. does anyone have these dunlop bottle slides that could help me out making a decision?

Go to a pawn shop and stick your fingers in some sockets. Yeah wrenches, find one that fits each finger and slide on. When you decide what finger works best, stick with it and develop your style. Most pawn shops are about a buck a socket. Try a few and then work on cutting the neck off a bottle if you don’t trust Dunlop.
I have glass, plastic, steel and brass. A slide for every mood, even cut off some galvanized conduit and cleaned up the ends. Sounds great on some nasty songs. Slides are like women, you will not know what you like till you get to know a few!
