ESP Bass Guitars – A Name You Can Trust

ESP recently celebrated their 35 year anniversary. They have been around since 1975. The company started out as a guitar repair shop called Electronic Sound Products in Tokyo.

They provided custom part replacements. By 1976 they were known as a provider for high quality replacement parts. In the Japanese market they began crafting guitars under the ESP brand. The companies replacement parts did not appear on the US market until 1983, shortly after they began creating custom instruments for New York artists. The first line distributed in the US was the 400 series, and they continued to grow from there.

They have become one of the top providers of guitars to the heavy metal music genre. A few Bass players who use ESP Bass Guitars include: Tom Araya from Slayer, Henkka T. Blacksmith from Children of Bodom, and Fred Laclercq from Dragonforce, each of which have their own signature series. The signature series is only one of the lines ESP offers for basses. They also have the ESP Standard Series, LTD Deluxe series, and the LTD Standard Series. All of which offer amazing sound quality. ESP guitars are said to “scream” more than any other brand, hence the popularity in heavy metal music. As always they offer custom guitars as well.

ESP Bass Guitars are excellent for the beginner on up to the pro. They have unique designs and wonderful sound quality. They are even beginning to make guitars with different styles of sound, so they are no longer just for heavy metal music. Their prices range from affordable to expensive, so they have something to fit any budget.
