Any Piano Duets for School Assessment?

I do Music Solo Performance for my school (I’m Australian). We have to do ensemble pieces for assessments. I’m a classical pianist and I usually have to do contemporary pieces with other groups. I played guitar in The Beatles’ song ‘Two Of Us’ last time and this time I’m doing a piece a friend of mine wrote with a group. I do play other styles of piano and I’m fine with improv. so this poses no problems.

However, there’s one classical pianist in the class, we are both at grade 8 (A.M.E.B) standard. (Playing pieces like the rondo from Beethoven;s pathetique or the Aram Khachaturian Toccata in E flat minor for our solo pieces.) I was looking for something a bit simpler than these, say grade 6 or so. (A duet piece of course.) To perform as an ensemble with her. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Oh, also it would be nice if it was one piano 4 hands because my school only has one piano in each of our practice rooms.

1) Faure — Dolly Suite

#2) Milhaud — Scaramouche (2 pianos) one of my faves if you could scrounge up another piano…

#3) Mozart Sonata duets are delightful

#4) Schubert Fantasy in F minor (probably the most difficult in this list but gorgeous!)

Kyle Gann on Music After the Fact…
One of the issues I deal with every day as a composer (every day I get to compose, that is), is the tension between what I want to hear and what’s “grateful” for the performer to play. I suspect a lot of us are in this boat now. It started with minimalism.
