classical guitar design

nylon string guitar full size, full body but SLIMMER neck than normal classical guitars?! any ideas?
trying to find a nylon string guitar with full body but a slim neck as I do not get on well with standard classical guitars with wide necks.I dont mind if the guitar has a truss rod or cutaway as i am not a purist but I would prefer it to have a normal sized depth body so it will have a good acoustic tone as I cam close to what i wanted with one of the ibanez nylon string guitars but it was a slim body and very quiet unplugged becuase it was designed as an electro/acoustic so it sounded a lot better plugged in…..any ideas…..budget approx £200 uk pound/ $400 usd..thanks!
p.s i forgot to say it doesnt have to be elctro/acoustic….. it can be acoustic only but either will be fine as long as it will sound ok when unplugged cos it seems a lot of electro acoustics are designed to be played mainly amped wheras i will be playing mostly unplugged…thanks everyone
The guitar you are asking about is a nylon string folk guitar. Looks like a steel string but is designed for nylon plain and silk core (never steel core!) wound strings (the head on these guitars will always look like a classical – open slots and horizontal winders). They are relatively hard to find these days. A lot of people, including manufacturers, will call just any acoustic guitar a folk guitar, but you need to make sure that the one you’re looking at has nylon strings (silk core wound), or else it’s really not! (FYI: There ARE also steel string (just the plain strings) folk guitars – they still have silk core wound strings.) I’ll try to find you a reliable link or two for the nylon stringed ones.
Edit: I’ve looked for quite a while but all I can find is people calling the standard steel string flat top guitars “folk” which, as mentioned above, they are not. Good luck!
