changing guitar strings
How long do you have to wait before trimming excess string after changing guitar strings?
You change the strings yourself, and then there is just all this string hanging off on the end and hitting you in the face. One friend of mine tells me you can cut if off right away, another says to wait 2 days…I don’t know why. Please explain.
They might stretch, but they are not going to get any shorter.Trim them whenever you want. Mine get done as soon as I’m done changing them. Been doing it that way for over 45 yrs.
