Purchasing a beginner guitar

There are three things you want to keep in mind when you’re purchasing a beginner’s guitar. Those are: comfort, playability and of course, price.
Now a common misconception is that parents or beginners will believe that an acoustic guitar is probably the best way to start out. This is not always the case. But if you’re in a kind of acoustic guitar music then go ahead and start with something like that but typically an acoustic guitar has much thicker strings. The strings are far out the fret board which can make it very difficult to play. This is very discouraging as well.
As far as the playability of it you want to make sure that the strings are not too far. That can be adjusted but when you’re shopping for a new guitar you want to make sure that the strings aren’t to far from the fret board and it’s not to hard for you to push down on them.
Also you need to be careful about how does it sit in your lap or how it feels in your arms. The sound of course is very important. If you’re purchasing an electric guitar there are different pick up configuration that you want to check out. Make sure you try out as many as you can to see how it sounds and to see if is more towards what you’re looking for. Of course the price is important because you can find guitars for 100-200$.You also can find package prices as well.
But always remember: playability and price. You don’t want to spend too much.
A guitar headstock, truss rod, tuners, fret board, and frets, all attached to a long extension made of wood, collectively constitute its neck. The wood used in the neck will usually differ from the wood used for the fret board. The rigidity of the neck with respect to the body of the guitar is one determinant of a good instrument versus a poor one. There are many types of neck profiles. Some aspects that you have to consider in a guitar neck are the overall width of the fingerboard, scale, the type of neck, the quality of the wood, and the shape of the back of the neck.
There are also guitars that have two necks named double neck electric guitar. They are allowing the musician to switch between sounds.
When you’re shopping for an electric guitar you need to pay attention to the neck. When you’re looking at this make sure that the strings are close to the it. When you’re pressing down on the strings with your fingers it shouldn’t hurt.
Make sure there’s no buzzing and the strings are nice and close to the fret board all the way up. That’s a pretty good indication that the neck is in good shape. Find out if the neck is solidly glued or bolted to the body. You shouldn’t be able to see any gaps or cracks.
