Which electric guitar should I get?

I need to get it at best buy, I have a $200 store credit to spend, I can throw in an extra $100 if it is really worth it. I am beginner/intermediate level. I dont have any amps/equipment/etc. because I just play acoustic guitar.
So which guitar should I get for under $300, keep in mind I dont have an amp so getting one with one would help a lot.
Best Buy still sells guitars? mine don’t sell them any more but if they do over there, get a Fender. Really well made guitars for your type. i still have mine. But if they don’t sell them, Washburns are just as good.
