Does Ibanez make good acoustic-electric guitars?

I really want an acoustic guitar for Christmas and i’m searching for the perfect one. I currently own an Ibanez prestige electric guitar and i love it, but i’m not sure if they make quality acoustic guitars. Can anybody who owns one tell me how they compare to other acoustic guitars? I have owned one in the past and it was good, not great. I have a Paul Gilbert Model Prestige electric and I love it, but I would never buy an other acoustic from them. There are a lot of companies out there that specialize in acoustics. Martin, Taylor, Guild, L’Arrivee, Seagull are very cool sounding. Do a little more research before you buy based on name alone even if you have had a good experience in the past. Acoustic are a totally different animal. Take Carvin for instance. They make really good electrics but their acoustics really suck.
