Best Layout and Design for Debut Album?
I am releasing my first album on a private label. It is most acoustic guitar, drums, keyboard, and vocals. Modern Folk/Indie Rock. I hesitate to use the term “Indie” because it is so abused these days, but I use it for lack of a better term.
What is the best layout for the songs, and design for the new album. Should the title track be first, in the order of songs, or what track number? We have 12 tracks, all about 3-4 minutes long. A couple over 4 minutes. The title of the album is “Halfway Home”. What should we use for the design, layout. We have not contracted anyone yet, and think ourselves to be creative, but of course we want this to be professional.
All ideas welcome.
Have you looked into other artists’ track order?
You could try starting mellow, yet happy and work into your heavier stuff, then finish back on a lighter note

Something needs you. If we had an … |

And, let`s not forget that nice flat belly and very pretty bellybutton. So if your into very skinny, older women with lots of ribs showing take … |

This $9.25 THIS is only part of the whole picture. How to explain? Perhaps with THIS…we find ourselves clinging to our own crosses and pleading, Jesus, remember me when you come into your Kingdom. More importantly, we cling to His cross as well. Jesus meets us where we are and says, Be not afraid. And, in the end, we cling to the cross. In between, to us, it all comes down to THIS: Jesus Remember… |
