acoustic guitar ageing

acoustic guitar ageing

What kind of acoustic guitar should i get?

What kind of brand should i get?
What wood base?
What wood base has the best ageing?

I would like for you to put in any other info i should know. I just started like a month ago on my brother Gibson electric and i want to get my own for two reasons.
1. So i can bring it with me, In my room and whatever
2. The Gibson is way to nice of a guitar to start on

Lots of good acoustics out there, but guitars have their own personality. Your brother’s Gibson might be awesome and the one made right after it or before it a lemon.

What is best for you, that depends on lots of things. Hand shape, what your playing, etc.

On the low end I’d recomend Ibenez, best bang for the buck. Good solid guitars for a low cost.

If you go mid-range Taylor is unbeatable in my opinion. Martin, Gibson, Alverez and Ovation are some other good mid range brands. Taylors I can recomend sight unseen. Never played a bad Taylor. They have excellent quality control. The rest I would not buy without playing first. Too much varience.

High end, play them and buy the one that grabs you.
